If they were to add a pvp daily system I could see there being an increase of users, even if only playing a few games at a time. They could have it for each bracket and just because of how dailies work psychologically, I bet we would see an increased pvp base with more frequent users, along with people who only do their dailies and then go back to pve (win-win, even if they play the 3 games it takes to do their dailies, that's 3 games they weren't going to play before).

i think a big reason people dont pvp right now is they don't have the gear, and it's a big grind to get it. If you make it so ppl can start out with i70 pvp gear and at least have a chance you would find more people inclined in participting.

1 pvp match->5 min more or less(not the queue obviously)->100 marks
1 dungeon->20-30 min->100 philo
As you can see marks are theoretically easier to get, and you need them not only for pvp stuff. Also the limit is 2k, so you can't but a thing that costs more than that

Wut. Not sure about ur dc, but on our dc, queues are an absolute nightmare. Hence why I say it should be reverse. Day by day queues get worse, and Behemoth is the PvP capital for our DC so idk. Back then yeah I'd agree with you pre 2.15.. but now.. yeah
Another thing to take into consideration is that you will get 100 philos for that 20-30 mins no matter what and you can also queue with a healer/tank or w/e for fast queues.. But with pvp the more you queue with the less marks you get, and 100 marks is assuming u win a solo queue 50s match.
But in the end the idea of PvEing for ur pvp gear.. ehh.. plus as Luna stated, 1000+ matches of experience and pvp skills will still triumph over that gear

It should just be more well known that lvl40 queue is great for a newcomer. 99% of the time when i adviced a newbie healer or whatever to go in lvl40 to farm up morale its a 'oh ok thx, didnt know that'. Nothing wrong with getting a couple pieces there and then moving to 50.
I dont much feel for giving too many reasons for PvE players to go into PvP, adding some sort of cross-currency. You will too often have ruined matches with total new players or people that would be grinding philos in pvp while watching a movie. Quality of matches has always gone down a lot when games tried this. Especially in a 4v4 situation as we have now. Perhaps i would like getting a gil reward though, and having that scale with your rank and the opponents rank. Meaning a newbie cant just afk there and get the same gil per match as a r30. But ofcourse there's always the botting issue. I've heard those were running rampart a few weeks ago.
