    First off, if you played 2 hours a week, you'd still be working on the story. The entire 2-hour-a-week thing requires an initial 500-hour investment, because there ain't a damn player of this game who started out with full i90 and immediately started gutting Twintania. So yeah, total nonsense strawman to begin with. Second, content gets patched in today in a way that old games could never manage. Teams are much larger and the bar for a profitable game is higher. Games like Anarchy Online and Asheron's Call, memorable though may be, peaked at 100k subs or fewer. 500k today is a failure that goes F2P after a few months.

    But in other MMORPG, each class can only play one type of role despite which talent tree they choose. In FFXIV, player can even be different Role by choosing different Job. If we look at the only duel job class at the moment, yes SCH and SMN only have 5 different skills, but they play so differently.

    Also I believe they said multiple times before, that in future equipping soul stone will change the effect of base class skill as well. E.g. a DPS Job for GLA will change some of the tank skills to dps skills. So there will be more than 'only distinguished by five abilities'.

    The only trouble now is, when will those new Jobs coming? I really hope they are soon enough before everyone get bored with the current limitations.

    That's not really true. In WoW, your Death Knight can be DPS (Frost, Unholy) or tank (Blood). In SWTOR, your Mercenary could be a healer (Bodyguard) or a DPS (Arsenal, Pyrotech). Not all are like this (e.g. SWTOR's Sniper has 3 DPS trees), but talent trees do affect role in many games.

    Anyway, you already hit the major flaw in Naunet's argument: Yoshi has already stated that jobs in the future can alter more class abilities.
