You're too confusing, now it's in Duty Roulettes? Bah. I'd better leave before I lose my mind with your nonsense.
I have this feeling that you have a huge hate over Summoners, just stick with your almighty ACN please, and stop spewing BS about Summoners.
Edit:
Actually, you're the only one left here who's still being haunted by Summoner's past experience in XI like what you're always referring to.

I don't just stay in Party Finder, you can't get anything done if you don't use the Duty Roulette since that's most people's main income for Tomestones, did you even know this? You're too confusing, now it's in Duty Roulettes? Bah. I'd better leave before I lose my mind with your nonsense.

When did I spew any BS? Are you actually saying this objectively or is your rump sore about something because this is an awful lot of hostility for someone else's experiences and opinions.

As a Sum I have also done this, done by the way of just having Garuda out and when in guard mode (even though a huge distance away) it will fly at the snake.
The solution is to spawn the pet once in position, when it first happened I did it with s/cast as I ran towards the mob once the fight had started but then I lose s/cast for shadowflare.
I dont think your experience of a lost loot item and wipe should reflect badly on all of us, others also get aggro accidentally, its part of the game now and again.
To point a class out like that does no real good as its a learning curve, once by the snake area the pet starts going crazy flying away, I dont know if that is intentional or not.

BLM are below SMN and both melee classes in potential damage over a decent length single-target parse, making them actually one of the worst lol. In exchange they have the best burst damage and aoe.
If we want to factor in bad players then they are often the worst because lots of players apparently don't know how to deal with moving and maintaining dps.
I feel I should edit this in before people take it the wrong way; despite all of this every dps job can do over 300 dps, which is more than enough for anything in the game and if you can reach this on any job you'll probably do top dps in any group.

For those complaining cause "bad SMN didn't control pet", it's not even bad or lazy SMN's, there's something about that room with pets. As soon as you cross the thresh hold to the arena they dash for the door. On my SCH I've seen my fairy run through the exit only to pop back next to me and do it again until I move. There's just something about that room that messes with the SMN AI if you're not paying attention and they dash to the door and can start the fight early depending on where you position before hand.

This. Pets just act weird in the Turn 1 boss area, and there's nothing you can do about it (I suppose you could place them, but this is counterproductive when you haven't even moved into position yet). I usually desummon mine as we unlock the boss room and swiftcast+summon once the fight begins, for this very reason. For those complaining cause "bad SMN didn't control pet", it's not even bad or lazy SMN's, there's something about that room with pets. I'm sorry, but I've NEVER seen a pet do this. Pet control is pretty simple, people - if you don't want your pet to aggro or do ANYTHING, set them to Steady - all they will do is follow you around. Then, when you want to control them, set them to Obey or if you want them to do their own thing, set them to Sic. EZPZ
