First off, I will start out by saying that Eden is one of our data centers better PvP healers. I have played several games with, and against Eden, and I can tell you that Eden is tough to deal with.

Now with that said, I do feel that there is a bit of exaggerstion. Most of the time, when a healer is playing well, kites, LOS, etc, it is difficult to nuke in a GCD. There are times when even great healers just melt away, but I wouldn't say it is a given. The stars need to be aligned, so to say.

On the topic: I recently have started playing PLD, and I do just as much damage as MRD, and also have quite a bit more utility. It really all depends on the player, more so than the class.

over a long fight you might equal out but mrd excels at burst damage. you don't have berzerk so you can't quite match that burst.

Actually, yes you can. I played 2000+ matches as a MRD, and still consider it my main PvP class. And there is math to prove that Fight or Flight = Berserk (with pacify). FoF, 3 stuns, Full swing, Spirits Within, circle of scorn= a seriously hurt, if not dead healer. PLD can be very bursty, if played properly. I probably play PLD more like a MRD though. so, that could play some role in it.
