I feel like Regen is a spell that WHM should always keep up on the MT at all times. However if I see one more WHM using Medica II every chance they get...it is so not necessary!

Also, that Tank needs to learn that not all healers are comfortable doing DoTs, especially if they're aren't Level 50. I mean, you all were running Tam Tara and its not that hard...but if I were in that situation and if the Tank isn't holding threat or is taking a massive amount of damage, then I'm going to worry more about heals than throwing dots.
Dots are only effective if we drop into Cleric Stance, and that triggers a GCD. And even then, Aero doesn't add *that* much damage. It'll shave like...what...two seconds off from a mob and a boss? There's no enrage on low level dungeons, so there's little to no point to throw Dots or DD as a healer unless you're just bored.

I've got one with a dps. Brayflox as a 32 WHM. At this point I had a 50 WAR and DRG so I knew what to expect. We had a MNK and. BUT with a WAR tank and everything looked great until we got to the first pull and I tried to sleep one of the mobs. The BBM wasn't having any of my shit because he only used Fire II and Blizzard II the entire dungeon. Even on single targets. Eventually we had a bad pull with five mobs and despite my best efforts our tank died. I asked the BBM to stop needless aoe at that point and he just laughed. So I stopped healing him.
The rest of the instance was great because after the second death he rage quit and we got a good SMN in his place.

Yeah, I remember a few bad times. Some where the healer is being weird, some where I'm the healer and the others screw up ^^;;;
This one time, in Halatali, I was waiting for a wandering bomb to come close enough to target (as PLD). The healer proceeds to pull the group between me and the bomb, which means I have to tank one group of impy things and a doctore and five seconds later a bomb as well. People in general don't follow markings, so I have to struggle to keep aggro, and then the bomb proceeds to self-destruct. I do my best to get the hell out of it, but five yalms out of the marker, I get hit and drop dead. The healer proceeds to berate me for standing inside AoE. When I try to berate in return for pulling, he's all "psh, that group's no problem". Well, no, but with a wandering bomb nearby, it's a potential fire hazard. And again with the snide remarks about standing in marker. (Next bomb we run across, from a winch, I hit it once and go on because while yes, stunnable and thus killable, not a priority. The healer comments "Much better." -_-)
Been leveling up my conjurer lately, and have run into a couple of idjits there as well. One DPS kept ignoring kill markers and at one point (in Tam-tara, I think) went ahead to pull a 5-mob group. I'd just been reading the gif thread and realized me and the tank mimicked one of the gifs perfectly. We just looked at each other and then proceeded to look at the DPS as he got smashed to bits. We then proceeded to take out the group while we waited for the DPS to return to the start and catch up with us.
In Totorak, we had the pleasure of dealing with the last boss as a three-man team, since the tank failed to notice the "Watching cutscene" symbol on one of our DPSes, causing him to be locked out of the area. We took down the boss, but it was definitely not fun. Normally I have no trouble throwing in some damage aside from the healing, but this time around I could barely take out the poison 'sploders with aero in between healing. (Thank the 12 the other dps was long-range, at least...) I wasn't surprised I got the majority of the commendations for that one XD (And of course that other dps got mine.)

I'm a pretty new WHM, just hit 30 the other day. However I do have a 50 paladin and a 50 bard so.. I know the lower level dungeons pretty well. I prioritize healing everyone above dps as I am still trying to find my groove and would rather be safe than sorry. However I usually have the time and power to cast a dot or 2 on the mob the tanks is on. I was in a group the other night in Toto. Said hi and please wait for buffs as I waited for everyone to be out of the cut scene. It was a strange run to say the least from start to finish. The tank just takes off, doesnt mark stuff, pulls without seeing if the rest of us are with him or not. The high lvl monk is trying to NOT steal agro from the tank. I'm dumping heals like crazy trying to keep the tank up. I peeked at his gear once as I dashed after him to keep up and see.. all lvl 9-15 stuff in the slots. No one died, but it was.. uncomfortable to say the least. We finish, and he cusses us out as ???? players and leaves. This was his highest job at 24. I am assuming its an alt.
My biggest peeve about the whole thing is we went through it super fast, with a guy who couldn't be bothered to upgrade his stuff. Everyone else worked to make sure we didn't fail. Then he cusses us out??? I wish players would get a clue that gear DOES make a difference to the tank especially.
Thanks for letting me vent fellow heals!

Ive posted on this thread once before have I have another one So I joined Ct with Pugs im not going to explain the pty make up other than the 2 tanks with str gear on both war and the whm with Vit gear on. Lets just say I pretty much from start to finish as a Ilvl75 Solo Healed and got yelled at by those three the whole time cus "I" wasn't doing my job btw the other healer was I90 Coil gear and all.
Was running Toto-Rak and after 8 minutes the healer said, "Oh somebody is running Titan HM, I really need this so I need to go." I was tanking so I wasn't mad for me, but our 2 DPS had just waited 20 mins each to load.... to be honest this was the first Dork Move by a Healer I've ever seen in this game. Ah well.
We wait five minutes, but healers never check "in progress". I didn't either when I was a healer. So we quit and back into the Q those poor DPS go....
