S-E, please reset our cooldowns after a wipe.

After wiping in a raid dungeon, I think cooldowns should be reset. When a boss resets, the screen fades to black, and the players respawn at the entrance, all of their cooldowns should be available.

Wiping immediately after using a long and important cooldown such as Hallowed Ground, Raging Strikes, Quelling Strikes, or Perfect Balance means that the party has to sit and wait for the cooldown timer or start the fight without them. The latter might not be an option in 2.2 when players are learning new content and need as much of an edge as they can get. We can't afford to start the fight without cooldowns.

Resetting cooldown timers between wipes wouldn't give players any unfair advantages since the boss completely resets anyway. We would be in the exact same situation as we were when we first entered the instance. It would simply reduce downtime. Waiting is not fun. Playing is fun.


Please have this change in place by 2.2, when players will be challenging new content and wiping many, many times in Coil.

In conclusion, full cooldown resets after wipes wouldn't work. It will only cause people to jump off of cliffs because of the internet.
