@Elvin You are right, I have for example done Haukke Manor HM with people UNDER ilvl 55, just to wipe at last boss because there is not enough dps.

I was raging big time because I could not imagine why in hell I was not killing the damn adds fast enough just to hear the other dps " Hehe... I think I don't do enough dps >.>".

    Oh really you think!?

Gear to reach the recommended Ilvl is wrongly set up as you can get a good high ilvl while have badly low stats due to the level of accessories.

The recommended Ilvl is wrong for all the content, This is mostly due to the classes supposed tested by SE for those dungeons are not the same as the one entering + rebalance changes are not re-tested (If they are the game does not reflect it!) & also because so many of the players SUCK regardless of ilvl!!!
I would actually like to know for a fact by offical responce from SE reps when they test the content do they stack ACC,Crit, eltlcl?? which would really throw off the balance of things.

& thats why its a "recommended" Ilvl for content not a MUST HAVE Ilvl, the ilvl you want to have to win the content is usualy up to 10 more than the recommended Due to the reasons above.

This. I think penality for leaving is big enough, but I think there should also be one for when you get kicked. I noticed it's a trend now in CT, when someone doesn't get their loot they want to jerk leave but without penality so say "kick me" and if the group refuses they afk or harrass for the rest of the run.

As for Pharos I think they should just take it out of roulette since it doesn't compare at all with the others avalaible <.< HM ones though...I don't see why people quit in them, they're so easy o.o I actually failed AK in pugs lately, cause it seems to be the target of incompetents, but the HM ones never...

If a person is afk, offline, harrassing, or cheating while in a dungeon, he/she should have a 30 minute penalty if kicked from the party, for all cases. If that person really had an emergency, 30 minutes won't do any harm to his/her life.

    Hey Kriss Kringle!

I noticed you're from Balmung. Have you tried making a party finder group for these dungeons? I checked your gear and I don't understand why anyone would think it's too low for any of these dungeons. I'll keep an eye on the party finder and if I see your group for these there I'll join and suggest the same for my FC members.

Meh I don't think leaver penalty will do anything. While I don't leave any of the Hardmode Dungeons I have and will continue to ditch any Pharos Sirius groups regardless of it the leaver penalty is 30 min or 30 hours.

The difficulty and the "rewards", or lack there of, are just not worth the time and effort when I can do a HM in less time and half the effort. Don't get me wrong I don't mind a challenge from time to time, but Pharos is just...well retarded hard if you don't have a group who knows -exactly- what they are doing. And MY experience in roulette has been that a good 80% of people do not know what they are doing.

They just need to nerf the place.

Pharos can be a bit rough. I was healing it last night. I don't think my group understood what the adds did on the last boss. Like the add that stuns, it grabbed me, I was unable to heal due to being stunned and we all died. After a few pulls I think they figured out they had to kill them, but that was after a bunch of: "Healer, why U NO Heal GUD?"

But it's just stuff like that when dealing with random people I'll never see again. I kind of think this was less of a problem when players for pugs came from your server. They made more of a effort to try to be helpful.

But yea, honestly, I think people have a right to leave if they want to. If someone is being ignorant and is going to judge you for what you are wearing, you probably don't want to play with them. Because they are most likely gonna not be civil: "Why U NO Play GuD?" Stuff like that could happen when it might not be anything you can do, or even your fault. Ignorance is now a growing means to deal with people in MMOs. :P Best to let those people just go on their merry way with their short penalty.

A bit off topic, but i kinda feel the same. Vote kick should get a few slight adjustments.

    - All the vote kick reasons we have right now should get a 2 hour penalty added to them. If someone goes afk without letting the PT know, is harassing other people, or is even cheating... he/she deserves an even longer penalty.

    - Add a "kick for replacement" option with no penalty at all. This could be used for emergencies or replacements due to low iLv.

Sure this isn't "100% abuse proof", but no system so far was. And it might make at least some of the "trolls" think: "If i act like that and they kick me i get a 2 hour penalty. Might just leave on my own or ask them in a reasonable and nice way to replacement-kick me"

    1. No, vote kick is still heavily abused, despite the risks
    2. "FC mate got on, we are gonna kick you" No

SE's stance is that if you meet the ilvl requirement, your gear is good enough. The problem just happens to be that those ilvl requirements are not job-specific, but mostly tuned for healers, who don't need so much gear as dps and tanks do.

At this time, a good number of people is overgeared for the duties they do and expect easymode fast run even on roulette, without taking account there exists also people who started the game yesterday.

Yes, some duties are challenging if done on ilvl not much better the requested one. But not impossible if people knows what to do. It is just that people is impatient and wants end everyhing on one minute. And don't want wipe. That's all.

Then "average" ilvl does have tricks too. i70 gear with i40 weapon gets you nowhere.

Only suggest I can tell to you is give priority to your weapon and accessories first. When hit 50 go straight away to buy your GC weapon, that helps a lot on all the necessary steps ahead, to get your Ifrit first, and relic one then.
