Curious... I see a lot of Ps4 streams of FFXIV beta... I thought there was an NDA agreement at the end of the download just before the install... Was I just too tired and I just imagined this?

S-E should have disabled the Share button if there honestly wanted people to obey an NDA. They also shouldn't have made the beta public with no registration required.
I'd say NDA is a non-issue here.

Seeing that this is a beta run for a game that been out for over six months. Everything that can be seen has been seen, and unless there's some specific PS4 content that exclusive for the moment on PS4 that SE doesn't want to be seen. Then I don't see the point of a NDA restriction.

Can't really test the share function with a NDA in place.

lol.. totally didn't think of that.
I'm just use to NDA's in most alpha and beta, granted... everything in this game has pretty much been experiences, but still beta bugs can be bad. All good guys... thanks for the heads. up.

According to:
http://www.siliconera.com/2014/02/21...says-producer/
"Square Enix restricted photo sharing and streams during the beta phase for the PC version of the game, but for the PlayStation 4 beta phase coming February 22, there won’t be any restrictions and Yoshida encourages players to share as much as they want using the PS4 Share function."

As said above - there are no "secrets" in regards of the content and the whole beta is (partially) big free advertisement for the PS4 version ...

NDA's are usually in place so that the mechanics and such of a game can't be discussed before the developer/producer/publisher are ready for the public to know about it. However, the PS4 Beta version of FF14 is simply a version of existing content that's live already. They likely wouldn't have an NDA in place for that simply because the mechanics and such for FF14 are already public knowledge. At least, that's my opinion anyway.
