    Ok,I don't like what's going on with the PS3..?.

    Hello guys,we all know Yoshi said : -Ps3 isn't going to be a problem for PC,neither for limitations etc-?. Well,he said yesterday they will drop the support for PS3 next year or at the end of the next year. I actually can't understand that,why releasing a game ( a MMORPG ) when they will drop the support for it within 2 years or less,when XI still lives?. I don't get it,why just don't release it for PS4/PC?. I must be honest,I can't afford a PS4 now,and I don't even think my PC can handle the game,so what I must do now,continue paying knowing one day we will be cutted of?. I am sorry for my English ( ) and I hope you could explain to me what's going on...Have a good day guys,and of course you all,Square & co!.

    Before you cause some kind of mass hysteria in here, gonna need you to provide a source of where YoshiP says SE is dropping ps3 support within the next year or so.

    I'll put your mind at ease, in 2 more years all the parts in my computer will be dirt cheap. I run ffxiv perfectly fine now.

    post proof or stop wasting thread space. i hiiiiiiighly doubt SE has any plans on removing ps3 support in the near or even distant future, they put way to much money into developing the software to just give up after a couple of years. not to mention the subs they would lose would probably topple the game.

    Regarding future of PS3 version:
    Do you plan to continue to support the PS3 version even after the PS4 version is released?
    Y: At this moment, we've already begun work on the expansion pack, and I can tell you that at the very least the PS3 version will be supported up to that point.
    Does that mean there's a possibility that PS3 users will no longer be able to continue playing beyond that expansion?
    Y: It may be a possibility in the future.

    PS3 will at least be supported until the the expansion. Then as of now, all bets are off.
