PSA: Guys, Hawk's Eye increases your shield block rate if you are a Black Mage Or Con

Guys, did you know if you use Hawk's Eye (15% Dexturity Increse) it will enhance your shield block rate if you are Black and have 1 hand? I see lots of BMS and they do not know this info and I think this info.

Don't forget that Hawk's Eye also makes your attacks hit the target, too. And Conj can get this skill. So come on. Thank you.

Pointless Cross-Class is still Pointless. BLM have low DEX in the first place, and increasing it by 15% isn't going to have any meaningful effect on block rate. Manawall is much better should you take aggro

And lol at using it for the Accuracy...if you don't meet accuracy reqs you shouldn't be doing Coil, and will still be missing all other times if you use this

Full i90 BLM can't tank anyway, enemies inflict too many cast interrupts and aggro will not be held even if you could survive the hits.

for end game BLM, your best 2 weapon are primal staff and relic +1, these are 2-hand weapon. well unless you lucky enough to get allagan Staff, you wont be using shield ><

I can see this having merit during solo play and rocking a class. Or even while leveling up. I approve. Never would have thought of that. The difference won't be huge, but still cool to have.

However, yeah, it carries very little weight in endgame. Still cool, though. /thumbsup

I love my surecast cross-class on my SCH and WHM. ^^ Hawk's Eye is pointless however. ^^
