				Aside from it setting a bad precedent, you mean. From a balance standpoint that should have been smashed into a fine paste using the nerfbat. I'm not liking the laizes-faires attitude towards raid balance the devs are showing. That tells me that if someone finds a way to cheese turns 6-9 they'll leave it alone instead of fixing it. And that sort of thing can trickle over into other parts of the game. =/
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

				They did code a soft enrage so they did know people might try to burn through it. the fact that they made a soft enrage in the 1st place means they were ok with that. why are people still arguing about that ?Aside from it setting a bad precedent, you mean. If it weren't broken, they wouldn't be experimenting in an effort to fix it. The fact that they did not intend to release that fix in this patch doesn't change the fact that they've acknowledged it to the point of experimenting to find a way to make it more challenging. Honestly, I hope they keep it as is because the method is now viable, since it can be done with adequately geared healers but those guys who've been running it in ak gear because it was so easy originally will now be filtered out.
They didn't say they were experimenting to "fix" it, they said they were experimenting with randomized fights, something people have been crying for. T2 won't be randomized, they probably were just messing with the code using some existing fights to test out what they have so far. So no, they aren't trying to fix it because it isn't broken. What happened was simply an oversight and the code being tested had nothing to do with T2 other than it being one of their guinea pigs to make sure randomization code worked before they built a fight around it.If it weren't broken, they wouldn't be experimenting in an effort to fix it. I would love to see a list of all the things that were "working as intended" that were changed. But honestly who cares about t2... I just curious how experimenting with randomization changed the damage of one of the soft enrages and hp of shit in t5.They didn't say they were experimenting to "fix" it, they said they were experimenting with randomized fights, something people have been crying for. I think the t5 changes are whats coming in 2.2. Now if they could use some of that sub money to teach there english reps jap it would be lovely...
