And you know how we only have 1 combo? And no real off-tanking combo?

Proposal: Replace Shield Swipe with Shield Projection

Shield Projection: Level 30
Cast: Instant
On GCD
TP Cost: 80
Range: 3y
Deals a potency 100 attack
Additional Effect: Applies Pacification to your target for 2s
Combo Effect (Riot Blade): Deals a potency 240 attack
Additional Combo Effect (Riot Blade): Grants your target's target a shield equal to 7% of their total health. Effect cannot be applied to yourself.

EDIT: Changed Additional Combo Effect because it was super OP.

shield swipe does not suck its awesome great damage for low TP cost you generate more TP then you spend in this GCD , its our invigorate in longer fights. and our OT combo is switching to sword oath doing rage of halone combo.... or casting out SS on people and doing riot combo. come on man l2 PLD

The stoneskin effect is pretty useless considering regular stone skin is available and is 10% and doesnt need to be combo'd.

As ot pld you have plenty to do. Keep halone debuff up, stone skin ppl on occasion. Flash to keep blind up. Riot to regent mp, stun duty, the list goes on and on. If youre bored as a tank you're not doing it right.

The free part was what was OP to me. Normal stoneskin takes like 4 sec to cast, will drain your mp quickly if you do more than 2 in a row. Your not doing damage while casting ect.

Giving MT 7% shield every combo while still doing damage and at no MP cost is just 2 much.

If it was a 5% damage reduction maybe. But then your just making WARs less useful

I misread soul. Thought you said stone skins to the party. Edited that out.

For the op: you already have 2 combos which you should be using. Keep flash up and toss out some stone skins and use riot to regen mp. It might not seem like a lot but the blind is helpful in most content and can also make galvanize and stone skins last a bit longer.

you know what i really don't like about shield swipe? it makes no sense to attack with the shield since you just used it to block an attack. it's an unnatural move. riot blade's stabbing motion would fit much better as a counter after a block.

If it were a real fight you'd counter with anything you have available. Deflect the attack with the shield then swipe the enemy to disorient them and attack with your blade.
