Sorry, if I was posting in a language that wasn't my native language and I messed up this badly (I can easily forgive small stuff like comma placement and semicolons, I don't even totally recall that) I'd expect to be made fun of for it. Grammar and spelling do not exist just so people can act snooty about it; it's necessary to UNDERSTANDING what they're saying.

Furthermore, the depressing reality is that there are PLENTY of native English speakers who type that atrociously. I have friends that are perfectly intelligent verbally but will type like they're still in middle school.

Now to actually talk about the main point - OP, just find a good guild. It's like this in every single MMO I've ever been on; you'll have your general population of douchebags but there are many, many FCs filled with perfectly fine individuals.

i might giggle at it but im not gonna point it out. i understood what he was trying to say. i make screw ups all the time. fingers move to fast. grammar is not my strong suit. thats why i love that Word has my back on that.

The example he used is to point out the fact that from his perspective we are "eating" each other and our behavior isn't better than animals. Which is true for so many reasons.
