i went to control panel -> uninstall programs -> noticed some thing called 'SavingsbullFilterService' installed a day ago on my machine. uninstalled it, FFXIV worked like a charm.

Bumping this since this worked for me too. I think this may have installed with Easy DVD player.
I love u abased. Apparently, so program called "quick knowledge" was installed on my cpu. So I unistalled it n the game is working again.
I had the same problem and I tried everything...
Thank you Abased...I wish i found your post earlier and uninstalled the program preventing FFXIV to work... now to wait 275mins for updates...but it's fixed!
I did the same thing. I removed the entire program before finding out the problem.
It was a small price to pay.
However the starbucks here has awesome internets. 45 minutes to download entire program. That's equivalent to one hot cocoa and a downton abbey episode.
I don't know where to post this. I've been getting the 90k error for over a week now, but it is so much worse now, today in less than 5 hours it has happened 8 times. Can anyone help? Wired, not wireless, going crazy >.<
