ARMOIRE - Storing Unique/Untradeable and Event Related Items

My rant in Linkshell chat today:

[14:33][1]<Blu Planet> man, when the heck are they gonna add to the Armoire storable items list? I have Lightning, All Hallow's Eve, Starlight Celebration, Heavensturn, and Valentione's Day items that need to be stored.

I still believe that they should be able to program a specific date when Event items may be able to stored in the Armoire. (e.g. The day after the event is over.)

They know what event items that may be obtained/received in advance, so they should be able to add to the armoire storable list easily?

I would also appreciate a FISHING TACKLE/BAIT box.

Lightning event items should already be storeable in the armoire.

As has been the case with each major and minor patch since launch, the items from the previous event will become storeable at the next patch. E.g., patch 2.1 added all the Lightning items, swimsuits, Halloween items, and Cactuar/Bomb earrings. Patch 2.16 will add the Christmas/New Year's and possibly Valentine's Day items. All items from previous years have always been storeable EXCEPT for the three usagi kabuto and the Santa outfit because those are not Unique/Untradeable.

Lightning gears can be stored since 2.1 (it need to be at 100% durability).

Yes, yes, we know how it works now. That's not how it should work, however. SE needs to plan ahead better.

Or it's done intentionally. I make no claim of knowing why SE did it this way, but I could see this as being the reason. They want people to get the event items because they want them(And make space for them if need be), NOT because they can just instantly stash them away and not worry about needing space for them.

Then they really don't understand the mindset of MMO players, many of whom will collect things purely for the sake of collecting them.

How about letting us store my old Santa outfit from 1.0 or the u/u items like Kabutos.

Or if I could mail my Alt this would be less of an issue.

Felis, ya got me there buddy! I had already stored the Lightning items. Totally forgot I did.

I was also able to store:
- all the Moonfire Faire swimsuits
- all the All Saints Wake gear
- all the Lightning gear and weapons
- Reindeer Antlers and Suit (but not the Dream gear, go figure.)
- Kabutos: Dragon, Crimson Dragon, Golden Dragon, and Black Dragon (but not the others)
- Paramour's Pendant, Platinum Paramour's Pendant and Band of Eternal Passion (but not the Valentione gear)



However, Square Enix--we still need these UNIQUE/UNTRADABLE items added to the Armoire storable list:
- Snowman: Head, Suit, Mitts
- Dream: Hat, Tunic, Boots
- Kabutos: Black Usagi, Silver Usagi, Usagi, Silver Snake, Uma, Crimson Uma, Golden Uma, and Black Uma
- Thug's Mug
- Valentione: Hat, Apron, Mitts, Trousers, Pattens


I was also ask SE consider allowing the Level 6 Custom-made body pieces (U/U) be allowed for storage in the Armoire.
- Custom-made Cuirass
- Custom-made Scale Mail
- Custom-made Shirt
- Custom-made Tunic
- Custom-made Robe of Casting
- Custom-made Robe of Healing

If youre wanting everything U/U, theres also the ring from your starting city, and the quest item you get (mask for Gridania).

Sadly, I got rid of the U/U armors from doing the class quests.
