When it comes to HNMs and XIV in general, it should always be about the skill, not who can wait the longest and get first claim. That ugly time sink does nothing more than waste peoples free time and takes the fun out of the game.

You have people that like competitive content. And the people that waste their time are those who don't like it.

Popped NMs like ZNM are outdated as well, we have instances for these types of things now so people can do them when they want.

People only say things are outdated if they personally didn't like the content style. As for do them when they want. Do you really think people only want to do coil once a week?

I would say that instances are "outdated" and have nothing to do in a MMO. After all, when you go into an instance, you leave the MMO and join a small server with 4-24 other people.

Pretty much. Fetch it quest is outdated as hell but it's still in every mmo. WoW standards are outdated.
