Dragoons - I don't see too many of them in the high end content

Our Coil group uses DRG, MNK, BRD, and BLM. Our damage is normally extremely high. There is literally no reason to NOT bring a DRG, I'm normally top damage and I buff the BRD whoa already does a lot of damage.

This, there is no reason to not bring a drg. Our group uses this same setup and gets the same results, 5/5 on coil and 3/3 for ex primals
