

Yeah that's pretty much what I mean, I would be surprised if it even added 10ms extra latency to be honest. The wireless router I'm connected to right now has a <1ms response time. If you're getting much latency from this you probably have a bad router or wireless nic.No, transfer rates doesn't really effect latency(lag in other words)... Wireless connection by itself adds a bit of latency and lots of data sending back and forth between devices adds even more. At worst case scenario you can get +100ms extra latency and that's quite a bit.
