I always forget to use the pot to be honest xD Hopefully we got 2 bard and one BLM so the dps is pretty high as long as disenbowel is on the target.

Btw,what do you think about the Holy Spear ?I didnt take it at first because i needed BRD,MNK,BLM weapon but now i'm gonna take it(at least for the skin )
But 37 Skill Speed could be ...not bad i think.Until the allagan spear drop i'm going to test it a little bit.
But what do you guys think about it ?

If you already have your +1 it is pointless to get IMO, very slight dps increase (im talking you won't even see it). Get it for vanity or if you dont have your +1 you can save yourself some myth.

A quick 'just in case' to everyone using this thread. The mods are currently dropping the fucking hammer on thread bumping by locking them, so if this does fall off the front page kindly do not bump it. It'll eventually return on its own if someone has a question or new information appears and there should be no need for courtesy bumping (though the thought is appreciated), which has happened once or twice.

The guide can easily be copied and reposted, but I'd hate to lose the questions and discussions with more detailed information for people looking to peruse them.

I have them on my bar, but I never actually use them XD Anyway, woudn't it make sense to buff up your IDC combo, as IDC > TTT is your most potent 2-combo segment?

NEW POT ROTATION!
Pots actually DO NOT break your combo, tested 3 times in CT just now. I was able to pot inbetween Disembowel and Chaos Thrust and still debuff atmos, KB, and arch.

HT>B4B>ID>IR>POT>CT>PS>PH>Jump>TT>SSD>VT>LS>FT>DFD

Now, on your bar it shows that the combo is broken, BUT, if you use the spell anyways it still goes off as if it were combo'd. GG

edit: if you notice, in my old pot rotation i was popping pots during my combo, so i have tested it many times before this without breaking my combo and still hitting a 1500 FT, i had just never realized i was doing it in my combo, i just did it lol.

I tried on a Warrior alt using Hi-potion of Strength, Spine Drops, and Mega-Potion. All broke the combo display and the following action had uncombo'd potency/no add effects applied. Maybe DRG is an exception? I know I've had meds break PLD combos too.

ill test again right now, maybe i was just bugging

Edit: Yup just worked on chaos thrust, might be a trick to it, as soon as i get the animation for potion i just spam CT and it works, im not sure if it gets the buff from the pot though, i think it did.

I'm personally not going to risk it, and just keep popping pots after CT.

Seems like you would want to have CT within the effect duration though. Since you're only going to get 5, maybe 6, GCDs during a 15s pot, seems like you would want
(pot) ID > Dis > CT > Phleb > (?)
