I am sorry, but you don't use Convalescence/Rampart/Sentinel/Foresight/Sword of Scorn/Spirits Within?
Rampart set to "r"
Sentinel is "~"
Spirits Within "Shift+Mouse 4"
Flash/Circle of Scorn Macro "e"
Again I use my binds for things i NEED, all my others skills are binded just BECAUSE im use to it. If you want my whole layout I will gladly tell you it. There just isnt a need for that many buttons on a mouse. I program 5 skills on a standard 2 button mouse. Do I need it? Not really. I just do it anyway.
But many people play different ways and if they dont like using shift alternatives for their mouse buttons then hey by all means do what you do. As long as people pull their weight then everyone is happy haha..
Also this is just from my mouse:
Provoke "Middle Mouse Button" (push wheel down)
Stone Skin "Mouse 4"
Shield Bash "Mouse 5"
Spirits Within "Shift Mouse 4"
Shield Swipe "Shift Mouse 5"
Again people play different ways. You could also add CTRL alternatives to that if you are real cool. Im just not that cool yet.

Like you said, it depends on the playstyle. You appear to have most skills on the keyboard/mouse, within easy reach of your fingers. Some folk are comfortable with the 'thumb buttons' on a mouse, some hate them. I don't like using the 'middle button' as I tend to mis-click it. I tend to play all 9 jobs similarly in that I assign certain keys to certain 'roles', e.g. 7, CTRL+7 is always a 'heal' function, be it Cure/Second Wind/Angry Cat. I use the mouse to both to move and to control the main POV at the same time, leaving my keyboard for strafing and skill activation.
Anymeow, I hope Doctor found something useful.
