Sea/Sky/Nyzul/ZNM/HNM Can I have It?

While I do enjoy open world content, I would only ask that it is more streamlined than FFXI in terms of allowing everybody to do it. I would not like to see the drama from FFXI return in this game because people have to farm a monster that only spawns every couple hours one time in order to get pop items for a boss. I also never enjoyed sitting at NMs for several hours just to get out claimed by people who considered botting ok.

Thats why you have mobs you can farm for "pop items". You could restrict it to be like a rare item so only 1 person can have 1 at any given time etc etc. That way you arent fighting over an nm, you simply get your pop item and get a group together to go spawn the boss.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying, in FFXI there would be monsters that would only spawn once every several hours that dropped the items you had to farm. Whichever party got claim over that monster got the item and any other parties that were trying to get the item at the same time simply got nothing. In some cases you could be sitting there waiting for the monster to pop for say.. 2 hours and then get out claimed by another party thereby making your time spent wasted.

If they are going to make things like Sky in this game I want to see the monsters you farm be something that everybody has an equal opportunity to get, not just the party with the fastest claim bot. For those who aren't fully aware, in FFXI there were a lot of people who used bots to claim monsters milliseconds after they popped or in some cases before they even popped and that ruined the entire experience for a lot of people.

I agree with you on this point. I think there should be many mobs in this said zone that can drop the pop items and not 1 exclusive on a timer that is super long.
