Ahh okay thanks all ^_^. Yes that has happen to me, but I usually have enough aggro for them to come back. It must be my charm *flutter eyelashes*. I quit using flash though cause sometimes it misses so I stick to OP now and soon provoke when I learn the spell.
Lol these posts about sum up the stupidity of this thread. I remember the OP made a thread generalizing male and female players and how they act and then kept saying she wasn't trying to be sexist. /derp
The OP is full of generalizations that have no merit. Quit crying over something that isn't even a problem.
As others have said, if it isn't to knock a mob back to the tank or to save a DD, why use it? The damage isn't high. The CD isn't short enough to make up for the low damage. If you want to contribute damage, you are better off using aero.
The damage it does and the CD makes it obvious its not something you are supposed to spam. Even when its off cooldown.
As a tank, I generally rotate targets. E.g. I get a flash and circle of scorn off and I get a combo on mob #1, then #2, then #3 etc. So when I'm about to go from #2 to #3 and it goes flying accross the room it really annoys me... I end up having to either A: chase it and take the 2 with me, or B: Ignore it and go back to #1. Now let's say a DPS was on #3 (even though I marked #1), because I didn't get to #3 to do my combo, bam DPS Pulls it, or worse the very same WHM that Fluid Aura'd gets hate form healing the party because I didn't get to #3 to get a combo off on it. What really sets me off is when said WHM gets agro on the mob they fluid aurad then they flame me out because I can't hold threat, like... seriously?
It really is a bad spell, the only thing it's useful for is whm kiting or soloing, and no one ever uses those strats.
