Ima a gay man and I heard about the hilarity going on in the forums yesterday from a friend. At first when I heard about the quest I though, "hey, that's might inconvenient." Once I actually played the event I quickly realized, "hey, this is pretty harmless."

I was lead to believe that the hearts were meant to be shared with your one and only "valentine". Instead you get six. If anything, Square is trying to get an orgy going.

All in all, this quest is harmless to the LGBT community.

Or you might not really be LGBT and are just making this post to further reduce any validity any real LGBT have when complaining about equal rights. It's amazing how quickly America has forgotten the problems of segregation. Maybe some of you need some lessons about the 1950s. Ask a 70-80 year old black man living in the south what segregation does to people, then maybe you guys will get a clue. Or not, since the real reason for disregarding LGBT is cause Americans need to hate someone. Hating the Irish, Blacks, Asians and Native Americans is no longer acceptable, hating hispanics is slowly fading away, so now it's LGBT's turn... Can only imagine who America is gonna hate after LGBT, hmmm, little people haven't been a hate target yet, so that's my guess. In 20 years when LGBT is no longer hated like it is today, then it's little people's turn. After them we can either pick another people or maybe go back to hating the Irish, then we can start the circle of hate without the hassle of finding new people to hate. Yay America.............

I also agree. The LGBT community has gotten way too thin skinned. We're not cancer patience about to die at any moment. We're people who have the ability to shrug things off.

Ok, let's apply your mentality to other things. How about not people who aren't accepted to rent an apartment cause of their race, it's not going to kill them, so they should just shrug it off. How about someone not getting a job cause their race isn't a popular one in the area, they aren't going to die, so they should just shrug it off. Or how about that Mexican guy a few years ago that lost his tongue cause of cancer and was waiting for a train and then the police closed off the station to check for illegals. They started asking for greencards and he had forgotten his wallet (not to mention that IS an American citizen so he doesn't have a greencard) and was processed for deportation and locked up for 3 days before anyone believed him, they even refused to get someone with sign-language to listen to him. He had to write that he is a citizen on a piece of toilet paper and throw it to a cop to actually get them to listen, but since he didn't die from it, he should just shrug it off like you said...

Discrimination is discrimination, no matter how big or how small, any discrimination is unacceptable and all you dismissive pricks should be ashamed of yourselves for having that mentality in this day and age.

Though it is a japanese game, it was made with more then just the japanese fan base in mind.

Plus your probubly going to find some of the same rants on japanese forums too. But im not sure if they get the same attention.

There is a big difference between equal right and forcing your belief onto others. Equal right is something irl, the right to vote, get married, have kids, go into a place and not worried about having bad service because of who you are.


Forcing your belief is when you are forcing people to change what they create, how they feel etc. because you want it to be so and hide behind the claim equal rights(much like if a gmaer says something is to hard they typically hide behind the term casuals when in reality they just bad). It is like going to a christian preacher and demanding he marry same sex in his church. He does not believe in it so why are you forcing him, thus becoming what you hate the most, to do what he does not believe in. Same is said for this game. Games are a creative vision achieved. The creators of this game do not believe in same sex love so why should something they not believe in be forced into something they create. It is like you creating something that's blue but me demanding you add black to it because why should black not be in it. It was your vision and creativity and you wanted it blue, you should not have to change what you feel and believe simply because I want black.

Thankfully those like you that want people to change their beliefs, idea, and creative expressions (to the extreme that they have to break everything they believe in) are the minority of the LBGT population. People like you are the very worse of the community and further fuel the opposition for the true equal rights of LBGT.

Hmmm, discrimination comparisons to other discriminations, doesn't add levy, it shows how one behavior had it's negative side effects and ignoring those lessons is ignorant upon itself. Courts use it all the time when siting similar precedence.

I am not gay nor LGBT nor anything like that, I am 100% straight and 100% American and with being 100% American, I strongly believe in the constitution, unlike you bootleg Americans who discriminate. So this is not MY plight, this is the plight of my fellow Americans who are dismissed cause of America's love of hating others that aren't like them, even if the hated ones are American's themselves.

If you look at the history of complaints on the forums and changes made to the game.

you will see some of the valid complaints atually made it in. Like the improvements to position checking.
