No one cares. It's a video game. There comes a point where the LGBT agenda is too pushy. This is one of them. Trust me, mostly all gay people don't care. Neither do I.

People don't play video games to worry about their problem in real life. A lot of gay people still suffer from people telling them "you are a guy so you have to get a wife like other guys" in real life.
When an NPC in a video game also "you are a guy so you have to get a wife like other guys" to you it's not really offensive or anything, it's just one of those things that really doesn't need to be there. So all you can do is let out a big sigh and hope they don't do something like that again.
They could have just left out that unnecessary line and kept the quest the same.

You just contradicted yourself. Stop worrying about irl in game......
I'm not even sure how the event works as I don't care for such things, but unless the NPC is directly bashing your sexual orientation.....grow up.

What about straight people like me that like the text and find it amusing because they are encouraging me to hook up with a lady?People don't play video games to worry about their problem in real life. tbh, while I'm not here to weigh in on the topic really (I didn't do the quest), doesn't just about every single piece of media do this for you already?

Except the NPC didn't say that at all. It was merely a suggestion made with a positive motive. In real life, when someone says "So when are you going to get yourself a wife?" and a gay person says "Oh, actually I'm gay", then people usually respond "Oh! My apologies, so when are you going to get a Husband?"
People are too quick to attribute malice to statements. You walk away from this NPC thinking "That guy is a d*ckhead", and grumble to yourself all day. In actuality, if your WoL were able to respond with "Oh, actually I'm gay." The NPC would probably say "Oh, good for you! I apologize."
People need to care about motive again, instead of spending so much time picking apart the language and verbiage used. People would rather make snap judgments and go immediately to the internet to try getting that jerk fired, instead of actually share their thoughts with the person and resolve the situation like a mature adult.

I also agree. The LGBT community has gotten way too thin skinned. We're not cancer patience about to die at any moment. We're people who have the ability to shrug things off.

I found this overly offensive. I will make 3 thread stating the same thing.
Oh and this is what the majority of it will be..
Rabble. Rabble. Rabble Rabble Rabble Rabble Rabble Rabble Rabble
Ah yes, the agenda. How sinister sounding. What, you say? It's just to be treated equally? Gasp! That's terrifying!
I'm not saying this event was discriminatory or that SE should've done something different (although they could've you know - and for that matter, why do women get pure chocolate but men get bitter? LOL) I just hate it when people use the term "agenda" as though there's a horrible plot afoot.
