Beast tribe minions/mounts feel like a slap in the face.

How long does it take to get rank 5 in one tribe? I don't see what the big deal about having to spend 290k for both tribes for the mount and minion. I didn't read the post in this thread..... I don't know how much gil you get from the higher ranked quest but I believe you get around 3310g per day from rank 1 and 2 quest, How many days does it take to get one rank to max? 30-40 days to max out one tribe? That's 99k-132k give or take. So where is the problem with having to save the gil you earn from dailies?

Eh, more like the restaurant sent you a flyer saying that if you did all of that every day for 30-40 days then they'd hand you a special menu with food not offered anywhere else with actual prices on it. But no discounts.

We checked the the Beast Tribe Lead who informed us that the plan was for these rewards to be considered valuable collector's items for those who purchase them, so we don't have any plans to lower their prices.

I wish you guys would be a little less obvious when you go inserting gil sinks into the game.

Their limiting factor or cost of entry into the 'rare collectors club' that makes them semi rare, shouldn't be their great cost, but the mind numbing, ho hum experience of repeating the same few quests day in day out. After you'd complete weeks of dailies in WoW you would have earned enough gold to buy one of the rare mounts you get when you were 'exalted' that is if you had saved your gold instead of blowing it on lap... I mean enchants or whatever.

the games economy... Lack of economy, with little gil rewards, overpriced houses, high reipair costs STILL, teleport gil costs.

Does not justify alot of the pricing of NPC items in game inlcuding this, i suggest the lead in charge of these things, be replaced with someone more knowlegeable in maths & economics.

Now that all mounts have same movement speed i must agree with this, theres literally no point in buying mounts when you already have your chocobo. If those new ones would run faster then i could see a reason to get them.
