If they were to add another fairy I'd say the most appropriate would be a fairy that lowers enemy resistances, perhaps a spell that resets resistance to disease and removes immunity to virus. A spell that lowers elemental resistances. A spell that reduces resistances to other jobs debuffs. Maybe a high end move that removes an enemies immunity (but keeps it highly resistant still), it may not be a stun but it could allow for a stun on stun immune mobs, even if only for a second. And a spell that raises party members resistances to certain effects. Although that might be better on Selene.

Though I highly doubt there'll be a new Scholar pet, I'd like to see one with the ability to increase critical hitrate, maybe doubling it. And MP restoration or TP? A third spell could be some sort of debuff, lowering resistances, like mentioned in the post above, would be quite useful I think.

Hey it wont hurt if a 3rd fey has a direct dps. Honestly tell us why its a bad idea. As for the TP/MP restore. While I don't personally agree with the next fairy having such abilities. I doubt SE would make it non stack-able with bard. (Or even more potent)

I don't think I ever said it should put bards out of business. It should be lower potency, have short durations of 30 sec and a cool down and should not be able to stack with bards abilities. This way when caught in a group w/o a bard you can still gain these effects in some way. But I still believe they should add these skills to another class since it makes bards very highly sought after and no class should have a monopoly on anything that unique and powerful. Adding them to a fairy is a good place since if a bard is present we have selene and eos, no bard we can provide the option of using it.

I love when players delve into mythology. Helios would be a nice addition and a male fairy would be great! As others have said, I think he should focus on debuffs. Eos is already for healing and Selene for support. We have to remember that when the level cap increases, those two fairies will likely receive new abilities as well. The third fairy should fill an entirely different role.

As for the debuffs, I think a determination down ability would be great. We are all about mitigating damage and we could use such an ability to great effect. It would need to be on a fairly long CD considering that they already nerfed Virus to keep that debuff from being cycled constantly. The second ability could provide increased resistance to all party members against status ailments. And the last ability could enhance the potency of a debuff applied to the boss. I'm drawing a blank for the last one. I was going to say an AOE leeches but I have a feeling WHM will get that.

It wont hurt, but seriously what would be the point, if it is strong enough to make any difference, you might as well just go SCH as oppose to SMN as you will have far more utility.
TP/MP restore imo is a no no, bard are already a bit meh to have in a team compared to other ranged dps, this is just taking a string from their bow, especially when you have better support options from a fey.

I dont think I ever said you either. TP/MP restore should not be given to SCHs, 1st just makes us more OP and more of a monopoly class, other classes need to manage their own resources, and if this is for the benefit of WHMs that pretty ridiculous
