    Thanks for contributing Zenaku, but i'm afraid "opening your ports" is not the solution to this problem.

    Everyone getting d/c and lag problem come with there ISP not working right with FFXIV opening the ports help if it does not then wait for the problem to be fix there not much you can do i hope SE read this topic so they can help and fix this.

    I live in FL USA and i have no lag problems.

    I don't think it happens to anyone all the time and we can all tweak our settings to some degree, but there are high traffic times when lag is a more likely to be an issue. I'm happy for you that you have been lucky so far.
