People have been temp banned on the forums for talking about parsers in detail.
As a result we only talk about our friends who are telling us how much DPS we do based on manual pen-and-paper skimming through the combat log and using a calculator.

Don't forget going through recordings! >_>
Technically Fraps or whichever video recorder could be considered as a 3rd party program getting the game data isn't it? So no one do record the battles, they have friends who do so and share the record after!
I understand why SE doesn't like parsers as they get into game data in memory which isn't supposed to be allowed, but then they have to give us that tool ingame as it's really necessary as soon as you want to improve your knowledge and efficiency as a player :/
I'm reasonably confident that video capturing software counts as authorized, simply because there was a huge ****storm at launch because they weren't going to allow it at first.Technically Fraps or whichever video recorder could be considered as a 3rd party program getting the game data isn't it?
