I think he embarrassed himself enough by acting like a pro and then saying, on a marauder he doesn't have an AOE tool. If he has PLD unlocked (since he "says" you have everything at 50 but WAR and WHM), he clearly should be using Flash as well as OP. I am by no means a pro, I have a real life. But if there is something I know about, I help the best I can, not go Noob Flaming on the forums. Time to learn the game yourself. Go pro go.

I never said that Marauder does not have AOE tool? I said that Overpower is the tool we have that only affects in cone shape, unlike Flash which is an Circular AOE. Please re-read my post. I do have Flash myself, however, as a lv 24 Marauder, how many time can you use Flash? 3,4? before you run out of mana? If you have something to share, please do because right now, I do not see any alternative play. And also, I never said myself as a pro, I used Veteran,and did mention I am no pro. So please don't jump on me too hasty

My advice: First, I am not saying you are an elitist, I have never played with you so I can't say. However, elitist attitudes and elitests in general ruin MMO's. Second, no matter what anyone says, mark targets. That is MMO 101. When you mark targets it's easier for all, mob dies faster, less damage to you, less strain on heals, less time in the dungeon. My first 50 was a WAR, while not great at FFXIV tanking, I was getting better. At low level, especially Haukke Manor, I wanted to punch things, even with flash. When you don't have Defiance as MAR class teamed w/ jobs, it sucks. I had to learn to tab through mobs to hold hate. With Defiance and the 2.2 buffs, almost nothing pulls hate off me, unless they grossly outgear me. I can even pull aggro off a PLD that has several rotations of hate gen. At 30, WAR is definatley better at holding aggro than MAR.

Lastly I want to say, if your intentions are not to be elitist, then I am sorry for the aggresion. Elitests are what made me quit WoW, and what has put my WAR on hold and me switching to BRD. This game is not even a year old, and there are a lot of people that are still not even where you are progression-wise, just chill out, let people learn, and as a tank you are in the best position to teach. Slow the group down and help them, don't flame them on here.

The word veteran itself says one having a long experience in one field and it has a positive meaning (with success).

Your logic of having almost all jobs to 50 = being a veteran of this game is funny because any tom, d1ck or harry can FATE grind all jobs to 50 without knowing nuts about them.

And to be honest, until the past 2 weeks I have only Bard and Dragoon at lvl 50 but I've cleared EX early and farming the weapons for weeks since. Because I only have 2 jobs does it make me less "veteran" than you then? I'm sure there are loads of people with one or two jobs at 50 but they have cleared T5 and EX too.

Anyways, for a Paladin, until he gets to lvl 50 for Circle of Scorn, Flash is the ONLY AoE tool they have too. And yes, if you flash properly, 2 or even 3 flash is what you need to hold group aggro in low level dungeons. You can also rotate your hits among the mobs to continue building hate.

For instance: The Fire Sprite in Hatali, it is easy to burn down the boss without worrying much about the AOE when the fire minions get to the Flame. With one or two Medica as Conjurer, you can keep the whole party up without worry a thing about being chased by boss or the adds. Now with that being said, Healer should not go chase after the adds, DPS them down by themselves and let the whole party wiped because the Healer forget to heal the party. When the Tank suggest that, Medica is safe to use in that situation and more efficiency, the Healer should not do and spam nothing but Medica for the rest of the run, just to prove that Medical can pull threat of the Tank (though it still requires 5 Medica Spam to get the mobs come after you) nor let the Tank die for not healing and laugh for being undergeared Tank. What wrong with having ilv 20 Gear to run a lv 20 Dun like Hatali while the Healer is in the lv 15 Item himself?

Furthermore, you are a Healer, your job is to Heal the party, not to DPS, and so focus that the Tank died because you forget to heal then flaming on the Tank for not doing his job. If you think you love DPS that much ,why choose a Conjurer to start with? I just don't understand. Sure you can DPS but only when it is safe to do so and only when you think you can still doing a proper healing while doing extra DPS.

Being a Healer, your main priority is Healing, not DPS, not tanking. And if you are good at it, you are a Good healer and be able to DPS is a bonus and we sure love you for that. Otherwise, please only focus on healing

And TBH, as a CNJ in dungeons THAT LOW, I will fall asleep if I don't throw in some stones. Seriously unless the tank is a total noob, all I do is use cure like every 2 seconds or so? I have plenty of time doing nothing if I don't throw an Aero or Stone, seriously. I think the only time your CNJ needs to struggle and spam cure in Hatali or dungeons that low is when your tank is a total flop and doesn't pop CDs...
