Can't believe I let you drop me like that in that last clip... Dat i70 Dmg tho...
my video has been removed from youtube by a claim from square enix i will announce my retirement if the video is not allowed back up. The video made it to 40 likes/400 views+ before it was removed thanks everyone for all the support
Edit: my forum post was not removed and i was not banned off the forums. if square does not allow me to make videos for the public i do not see the future of pvp in this game going anywhere i will move on from this game and the 100s of wow players that wanted to start playing the game will most likely stop dead in their tracks. Other people have put up videos and have not been banned off youtube this was a specific claim from square enix i have sent them a letter regarding on the changes i need to make for the video to be released to the public i apologize to the pvpers of this game the letter i sent may take up to 10 business days which is time i do not have unless square contacts me within 5 business days i will not be willing to play or make videos for this game thank you.

each player chose their name and everyone inside my video should be proud they put up a fight unless square contacts me there will be no more warrage pvp videos the names at the end of the each match brings another feel because i was not fighting just average level players i apologize for anyone that had their feelings hurt and i apologize to my fans that wanted to see more warrior pvp videos i leave the future of pvp in Yoshida's hands. Me as a player i can not see myself wanting to play much longer if my video is not allowed to be viewed. Support is greatly appreciated
No, Copyright claim means copyright claim. Its because there was music added to the video, most likely... This is a bit ridiculous though, isn't it? They're ultimately killing off their own free advertisement.
i could remove the sound if asked it will not have the same feel unless i go back to step one and add a different song/bgm i left a letter for square in multiple places they have 5 days to contact me before i quit. on a side note other people have their videos up even after being banned off the forums for posting up a video so me still being able to post means something
Yoomu is probably correct. Are you sure it was SE that removed it, and not youtube? I made videos in the past, and they where removed due to the music.
I'd be just as pissed if they did the same to one of my videos. I like choreographing the music to the action in videos as well, to be honest its pretty ridiculous when you consider that any video is free advertisement for XIV.
Let me know if you're going to take this to General Discussion with a petition thread. If you won't, I will, but considering your video was removed, I figured you might have wanted to do so yourself.
Its a copyright claim by SE, not Youtube. SE has an absurd clause in its ToS stating you cant overlay music onto any XIV footage, something that no other game has done before to my knowledge. Its pathetic that they even chose to enforce it, as its just going to turn players away and kill off a source of free promotion.

Because SE is retarded. I don't think there is any other reason. The people running this game are known to be consistently... inconsistent. Example; people being banned for posting about parsers, when months ago a CMRep stated they are fine and don't break the ToS.
