    One of those looks like a night shot taken outside a town with bright lights and another looks like it was taken in a desert away from civilization so you could get a nice clear shot of the Milky Way.

    Not sure what the problem is. I see stars of different brightness in both pictures.

    I think it's more of the feeling like the Milky Way is merely a flat image pasted onto the sky. The night sky doesn't feel alive, unlike the clouds or the rays of sunlight.

    This video shows it to be pretty dynamic. The stars aren't supposed to move, and from the image, I get the impression that there is depth. The world rotates and depending on weather, it can add different variation to the sky.

    I still don't understand the problem.
