I like your style.Get 6 monks. 1 monk will maintain DKick debuffs and the others just do their standard rotation. I don't remember the exact time, but we killed it around the same time as Row Bombs was finishing up. Most of the people were not very geared since we needed to find skilled players first over a geared Monk.

cool u might break a new record by utilizing 6 DRGs. and yes i know, its goin to be an overkill

Unfortunately, DRGs do not self-synergize as well as MNKs do. Disembowel must be used to reach Chaos Thrust, and although dropping Heavy Thrust leads to more potency per second, I don't think it leads to the same returns as a MNK freed from having to use Dragon Kick.
What do you think of solo tanking Ifrit ex? Seems like 5 stacks would be possible to heal through especially with 1 SCH at least.

Did a few melee heavy runs today, was quite fun. Not our most clean kill, but this was one I recorded ha

We have already cleared it with me solo tanking. I believe we got it down on our 3rd try. The problem with Ifrit is the way the encounter is designed. It punishes you the faster you go, you start skipping phases like hellfire which allows the healer/healers to catch up and your stacks to drop.
heavy thrust is actually a buff on the player, not a debuff on the mob, so that won't even help them. Do want to try thowing more monks at things though.

My bad, I'm an idiot, haha. At least my point stands even standier now.

Well honestly 6 monks setup will be quite amusing though, 1 mantra every jump or tumult is insane but still 6 monks doin their flank and rear rotations might screw up with wotl safe spots?
