It does feel a bit lackluster but effective use of it can be the difference between wipe and success. Most WHMs don't know how to use it effectively though, most probably never use it. I use it as an "Oh Shit" ability but not in the same sense as Bene or HG, you have to able able to predict the "Oh Shit."

With the delay on Bene and HG, you pretty much have to be able to predict it for those too.

It should have a longer duration in my opinion. I remember when I unlocked it that I was a little underwhelmed at the ability's usefulness. No 'job' skill should ever approach anything seeming useless.

I use this but it is very situational. I actually have it in my prefight macro for giving everyone stone skin (except for the 8th player that is...LOL)
I have used it occasionally like the other poster said when my swiftcast has been used and then another player bites the dust.
They have ruined what could have been a good ability by making it way too short.

I use it if I have to raise someone and my swiftcast isn't up yet.
