Posting on these forums is just like telling SE, so I don't understand you.

not really.
you see, threads like this is one wont get noticed by the devs, hell i seriously doubt the CMs will report any of the stuff in this thread to yoshi and co. what will happen though, this thread and other like it will just write off as a typical QQ thread of the day and no one who could do something about it wont even hear the OP, mine or even your opinion about what we think about the game. after a while, the typical people from the total extreme playerbase on this forum (hardcore/ conservative and causal/liberal ) will slowly ,but slowly devolve this thread into a name calling hate fest. which inevitably will get this thread closed and forgotten. pming the GM in game or just shooting a email to SE directly will seriously improved your chances to see you grievances dealt with

im sorry, but i always see it to be futile to post stuff like this on the forums, when you can cut the middle man and just go the the company instead.
edit 2
hell if you guys truly believe this the devs will look upon these forum, then wouldnt you have a way better chance on the jp forums...where the devs can look at your thread(s) without a translator?

So, I'm not sure if this has been said or not, as this thread is now 4 pages long, but have you thought about moving forward with the game?
You only have access to SOME of the content, where most people are spending their time right now is in Coil, EX Primals, Moogle Mog, Ultima, etc. You are missing a HUGE chunk of content, which was designed to be the most appealing part of the game. If you need to take a break, do so, but I would also recommend pushing yourself to get your relic, trying Coil, etc etc before you set down the controller.
I also am a PS3 player, and while the doom and gloom of these forums occasionally gets me down, I know that I don't want to pick up another MMO because I like that I can play standing up with my headset on in front of my TV yelling at the Dreadnaughts to stop hitting my tank so hard and jumping up and down. I just don't think any MMO that isn't playable on a counsel will ever do it for me again. And I played EQ1 for 11 years!

They have admin that go into each thread and sort out the information to see what is useful or not. That is how they got user feed back in 1.0 to remake the game for ARR. Sorry, but it is the truth. If you don't want to read what the OP has posted, then why do you continue to post in here?
Going to the company is posting on the official forums. This isn't a outside community site, this is maintained and monitored by SE themselves. The best way to communicate with the devs and Yoshi P is via the forums. You would have to be around during 2011-2012 to understand.
FFXIV is too casualized unfortunately. There is no sense of exploration at all. You just sit in Mordhona or any Main city and start queuing up with DF or PF, you never need to travel. And even when you need to travel you can just teleport to the locations. This destroys exploration and adventure from this game.
Also the new 2.2 patch doesnt seem to add much, it's basically the same thing. Primal EX fights and new Coil Turns for Endgame. Pple will just log in once or twice a week to complete these and there's nothing much to do again. So the end game is just where you queue up with DF/PF for boss fights? This really is how FF is now? I'm not looking forward to any of this.
Characters lack any customization at all, the 30 stats points you can allocate is a joke, if you're dps you're gonna put it into str and if you're tank 30 into vit etc. Cross class abilities are stupid as well, there's not much choices and every other player is going to be the same drg or pld.

I miss the sense of getting lost in a new area, taking it all in. I do not like how this game is almost pure instance content.FFXIV is too casualized unfortunately. And even when you need to travel you can just teleport to the locations. This destroys exploration and adventure from this game.

Doesn't anything get boring or whatever after a while? There are more games out there to play if you absolutely must spend your time playing video games. Other than that, I'd say find another interest or something better to do with your time/money. I feel like this is common sense advice

Things that will (most likely) never change in MMOs from here-on-out:
-Best in slot copy/paste
-Best stat allocation copy/paste
-Best rotation copy/paste
-Best strategies copy/paste
-Best skills to use copy/paste
-Dailies of some sort repeat/day
MMOs have been cookie-cutter for years. Yes, I did play WoW and XI for 7 years each. It was the same deal there. Everyone used the "best" sub-job, "best" skillchains, "best" pvp setups etc. There were very few people who would "break the mold" (NIN/WHM, going Beast Mastery when Marksmanship was dubbed "top dps", or something of that nature). Everyone follows the optimal, there is no real choice.
Even with a dye/vanity system, it's the same thing:
That level 10 armor from "xxxxx" dungeon looks sick! Gonna vanity that on top of my "xxxx" armor! - 80% of the server. Guess what, you still look the same as (almost) everyone else. I can't tell you how many people I saw with the exact same armor on in WoW even when the vanity was introduced.
Choice has been, and will continue to be an illusion in regards to that. This is just how MMOs are.
In regards to exploration/teleporting/duty finder, those are pretty valid. I actually chocobo to places more often than I teleport. I can't really argue that part of it. It does kinda suck that there is so much world that nobody is seeing, or only seeing once to get the map achievement.
You should take a break in playing MMOs, no MMO can serve you fully based on your OP.
Edit:
For some reason, I feel the same way. But only during my friends ingame are offline. So I haven't resorted YET on giving up on this game.

This sums up a lot of how I feel. yay another primal fight in 2.2...FFXIV is too casualized unfortunately. There is no sense of exploration at all. Not that I've done any of them yet, but I'd like to see some adventure, fun and danger that isn't confined to an instance we can access without moving out of the city.
