What?! What more can you ask for Culinarians?
Though I agree with ALC, it's just absurd to share the cooldowns of each potions. But IIRC, Yoshi-P already made an statement about this before. I just can't recall where.
Cooking has a lot of bloat, both in terms of how many foods there are that are never used and in how many ingredients it takes just to prepare a single dish. For example, a lot of the high-level recipes aren't used because of their ingredients and their (currently) unreachable stat caps. Culinarian is great, but it could use some tweaking to make it more user friendly and to better encourage the use of a wider variety of foods.

It's pretty logical that the 2 star foods can only be used in high-end gears. We're not even there yet, not even close. As for the recipe, it's pretty logical that foods requires atleast 6 crafting materials.
Regarding the potions, probably push the duration to atleast 30s. That'll be pretty reasonable considering the cooldown of it.
Two star food may be unused by smart people but according to the rate at which 2 star food sells on the market on my server I really don't think that it needs to be changed at all. Culinarian is by far the most profitable crafting class in the game right now due to the fact that it's a consumable resource and tons of people are still buying two star food regardless of the stat caps.
Not to mention 2.2 is right around the bend in march and I'm sure once the new gear is introduced we'll finally be able to hit those stat caps as expected. Food in general is easy to make, the materials are easy to obtain and cheap to buy in most cases, and unless you can't get 100% HQ the only reason to complain is that it takes up too much inventory space which isn't even that bad.
On another note, I agree that alchemy needs to be changed. In its current state it's pretty useless, but then again so is crp.
