They are on 2 different alliances, and would not know each other.
Actually it's not that hard to get two (or even all three) CT groups if your group leaders queue at the same time with a non native language selected. Each group holds off accepting the queue pop, communicates their status, if all looks good...they're in the same CT run. Two troll groups could then easily abuse the feature. While you doubt 16 people would punish 8, I see the opposite. Especially true towards the end of the week when the troll groups have little else to do.

    This is also spot on.

Let's say alliance C had some issues with the valefor trash mobs that caused a tail swipe to collectively murder alliance groups A and B. Be it trolling on C, aggro issue, poor placement, whatever.... groups A and B could very well kick the entire alliance C that may have really been only a single person's fault.

    Er .. that's what I mean. Sorry I wasn't clear. :\

When I say that an entry tank messed up and that its arguably the group's fault - I mean that you don't know if someone didn't clarify that Valefor needs to be positioned properly or for whatever reason somebody pulled aggro and they couldn't regain enmity to reposition fast enough (just an example - i'm no tank). I've met tanks who didn't let the party know they were new to CT and started it with a wipe. It's too situational and unfair to kick an entire group for a mess-up somebody didn't mean to do. Let's face it - even in a small 4 people dungeon, when a tank or healer derps everybody goes crazy keyboard bashing.

I do agree with what you said though. I'm not 100% familiar with the functionality of the DF enough to see not one, but two, groups troll one group.
