when you say a memory issue, are you talking about your brain, cuse as much as i never use my tricorn and how little 3.4m is, if i had lost it, i'd know about it.

Basically I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt,and blame my own error(my brain). I was willing to accept that I somehow had done something stupid w/out knowing it. But like you said....losing a chunk of change and some gear is something you notice. I cant explain where the deficit went, but when I recalled my retainer after the wards had crashed, it was short gil and a tricorn....and possibly whatever else I didnt notice was on it.
