About mounts - mainly Behemoth one

i would have preferred the chocobo system from xi, you would need to breed them and you would get a random color and some were rare, I don't like having too many mounts, feels like a circus. one thing that I didn't like is that they brought horses into the game...

I hope they bring that sort of system back or something similar but minus the 30 day wait.

Personally the development time they spend into rigging our characters to ride whatever clawed and toothed beast we should have a powerfull respect for, should have been spent on allowing us to customize our chocobos with gear and other physical enhanchments.

But you know, GOTTA RIDE DAT GOOBUE GUYS!

Sometimes it's not about immersion but the game keeping some dignity.

What I hope I see they do next time they add a "boss mount" to the game is add more or less a downgraded smaller sized version that is actually different from the boss itself, something that doesn't make it look as high and mighty as they boss but merely a sign that you were able to master that difficult fight and now you get as a reward its lesser form, that'd be awesome.

But yes, Behemoth as a mount is a BAD idea... Not that I wouldn't mind riding one but still BAD.

Well its not that I envy those with behemoth mounts but well OP has just made a point. To bring the great behemoth so low until as a mount is kind of ironic. Behemoth wind-up minion is fine cause its cute haha.

I wonder instead of just having Chocobo as our fighting companion, I wished they implement more varieties and Behemoth is surely one of the most wanted list. I hope that they can actually put up more variety to the companion system.

No, I really don't like tons of mounts and vanity pets running around... it looks like a zoo, and imo just makes the environment look like a cluttered kiddie mess.

I like how EQ 2 would let you place a lot of these pets and stuff in your house. They become house pets... and a form of trophy. I really liked that system.

I guess that would require us to have personal houses... that we could afford.
