About mounts - mainly Behemoth one

Don't have Behe mount yet but I love my Drake mount. Needed a change from Coeurl and Choco for a while.

I would like to see maybe a movement speed increase if you have the correct sort of mount for each zone.

Drake being cold blooded (I assume) wouldn't be as fast in Coerthas than he would in Thanalan...or maybe I am thinking too much.

To be fair, I don't exactly think the "majority" asked for a Behemoth mount in particular. The majority probably isn't bothered by it, but that's not the point. If we'd have gotten a completely different mount, they'd most likely be just as satisfied.

I wanted a Bahamut mount, not a Behemoth mount. He is ugly.

Anyone recall why SE said they chose to go with the smaller egi type summons instead of larger ones? Was it something about them being too large or something? Seems to me this new mount is bigger then half the summons you could get in FFXI.

the Behemot is the worst ever mount I have got to see around...that thing is just ..hiddeous !!

I dont care either ways if people want mounts or not, they should only be pets, except for 'bos. They shouldnt have any part in game other then moving from place A to B and please keep those out of town and not more then one pet/mount at a time for one toon out.

You know what the big difference is? The Behemoth (and Goobbue, for that matter) can't be used as companions. They only take up ridiculous amounts of screen real estate when it doesn't really matter at all. Now imagine having something the size of Titan constantly obstructing your vision in the middle of a boss fight. Hell, even during a trash pull that would frustrating at best.
