lol i've been abusing it as a DPS tool,
I guess it would help to macro it to a cure spell so it casts asap.
But yeah extend the duration imo.

As many pointed out before: 300sec is way too long.
120sec with 15-20sec uptime would be far more appealing.

Totally agree. PoM should last for at least 15 seconds (I vote for 30) and have a 2 minute CD. Benidcition should also only have a 2 minute CD. That would put our "Oh Crap" heal just slightly below what the SCH gets. They can cure a target for 150% of their Max HP every 2 minutes ( or 75% every minute) with the 1 minute CD for Aetherflow.

Yes and no, the most important thing on benediction that needs to be changed is that the target receives the heal sooner or almost instantly. Yes of course the CD needs a rework too. Something between two and three min.Totally agree. PoM should last for at least 15 seconds (I vote for 30) and have a 2 minute CD. Benidcition should also only have a 2 minute CD. Yet you should consider that SCHs fuel more than just lustrate with their aetherflow stacks.

I use this ability when our tank brings Aclepius and the two Hygeia over to grab the other Hygeia (strange strat, I know, but it works.) I pop a pot, divine seal, and presence of mind and just spam the daylights out of him to make sure he doesn't go down. I love weekly mini heart attacks.

I don't find PoM even vaguely useful. I very rarely touch it. Completely agree that it either needs work or to be removed and replaced with something more useful.

Having played both tank and dps classes to the highest levels in the game, I can agree on one point with you all, and that the beginning seconds of the skill are wasted.
Other than that, there is no need to buff the duration.
There are moments of burst incoming damage in a fight that this skill works well for. Any less of a cool down, or any additional uptime of the skill would trivialize encounters.
Just like how sch's 50% up-time of selenes spell speed boost on both healers (and casters) "trivializes" fights...Having played both tank and dps classes to the highest levels in the game, I can agree on one point with you all, and that the beginning seconds of the skill are wasted.

A 20-25% uptime of Cure/cure2 with 1.6 sec cast/ 2sec gcd is really going to trivialize fights...

I use Presence of Mind as a bridging skill for those times when I know I'll be doing a long string of on-GCD casts and Shroud won't be available for a bit. I'm also one of those WHMs that watches for and utilizes my procs. A long string of C1s means free C2s means cheap C3s (costs less than C2 when proc'd).
I don't think of Presence of Mind as a "save me" button. I treat it like a utility/mana management button. Works great that way. Besides, WHMs are a dominant healing force on the field; we don't really need a magic cooldown if we're doing our jobs well. And we've already got Benediction, despite its slow cast time.

Just get rid of it and replace it with old Sacred Prism for next healing/buff to be AoE.
