It's also extremely uncreative of them to have that ability on practically all 'endgame' mobs.

Its sad that its almost better just to keep your companion out, and sprint through the whole of the beastmen territory.
When traveling through with i87 gear...I think. "Do you really want a piece of me"?
Agreed Id rather have mobs just kill me TBH , increase the danger level... heavy is just an annoyance.

Errm... If you remove Heavy and make enemies dangerous, you'll just run through them with zero worry... Unless they one-hit you, but that would just be ridiculous...
They'd have to be dangerous and inflict Heavy, in which case you have an annoyance which kills you, instead of an annoyance which doesn't really do anything.

I do not know about you guys... Those Beacons annoy the sht out of me.
They stay "engaged" even after i run some distance..... which means i cant mount.
All i wanted to do was kill that Amal'jaa Thaumaturge guarding the Beacon.
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...

Then run into area west of Moonspore Grove with a level 40 and see how inconvenient it is.Even though it annoys me, I like to think that the arrow hit my character in the leg hence why they are moving so slow. But I definitely agree, the Heavy status ailment makes it annoying to travel through the Beastman strongholds. I'd rather they be dangerous, not just make me sluggish.
My only problem with Heavy is how freaking long it is. Is 20 seconds really necessary? Cut it in half and you still get the desired effect while not being annoying.
.
It lasts way to long. If it was 10 seconds or less it wouldn't bother me. Its being snared for 10 seconds after the thing that can't kill me has run home.
