Why are Warrior Axes so tiny?

I personally don't feel the high-level Warrior axes are small. I like the Bravura in particular.

I wish the effing Monk weapons were smaller, sick of having giant handheld war clubs instead of something you could actually do martial arts punches with while holding. They were fine in the early levels when knuckles/claws were the biggest things you would have but once you get to endgame it becomes ridiculous.

Axes look huge on my Miqote friends. They seem big enough.

I wish this, too. The AF monk gloves look like what their weapons should look like.
