    My experience 45 days in.

    Hello all;
    So far as a WAR I have cleared everything up to T5. I can farm all the EX primals easily as well. Granted I have more time to play than most but I have also played MMO's for quite some time.

    The raid content could be much better if latency was fixed. Not everyone experiences this but most do and its very apparent on Titan EX. No other MMO or game I own lags except for this one. It's not Verizon Fios, it's not my PC. It's your infrastructure. Find and fix the problem please.

    I wish there was a better way to customize buffs and debuffs. Adding "auras" around your character when buffs such as "Grease lightning" are applied would be helpful as well. Having to look at a tiny square is a strain. An aura would make this easier to notice and more fun!

    Fun daily quest that are more than go grind or collect this.

    Client side hit detection. I hate to bring up WoW but it is a perfect example. This goes hand in hand with the latency to make a horrible experience sometimes.

    Addons!

    So far it's a great game and I am enjoying it very much. Thanks!

    About your example, Greased Lightning actually provides an effect around the character. To be fair, it's not very apparent, but there IS an 'aura' effect.

    The Greased Lightning effect is pretty darn obvious at the second and third tier, given that it's a blend of highlighter yellow and green. I will grant that the first tier effect is less obvious, since it is smaller in size and only a pale grey.

    Quite a few buffs have visual auras like that, such as Astral Fire, Umbral Ice, Wrath, etc. All of them quite obvious.

    I think the design decision they made behind which buffs have visual displays is that if it's a self buff to do with your job's core mechanic it has a visual representation to make it easier for you to manage that mechanic. If it's just a buff that doesn't impact how your character operates significantly, then they just left it as an icon so you aren't lit up like a christmas tree.

    A surprising amount of people play with all effects on. There nice to look at from distance but as a melee I find they make my job harder by hiding the mob(s) and player(s) placement under huge flashes of light and ice (I'm talking to you Holy & Freeze!), not to mention orientation for positional attacks. I find setting my "Party Members" effects to "Limited" not only fixes this but ... and here comes the point... makes it so you can see Greased Lightning on yourself :P

    I'm one of them, although I do turn off effects from those outside my party since that significantly impacts fates like Odin and Behemoth and is really the only situation that the non-party member setting impacts gameplay. The only things that really block my view of what's going on are LBs and monster effects which can't be turned off anyway.

    A better indication for Divebombs would be nice. That way players wouldn't need to improvise for a better view / hearing of the sound of it.

    I think the problem is how demanding the aoe cast bars are.

    Titan's weight of the land gives the player less than a second to react or you will get hit. When you take into account latency delay then it's even less time. When I see weights appear on my screen, the cast bar is already halfway full. If I'm not moving the instant I see them, I get hit and sometimes I get hit anyway.

    As it stands weight of the land is about a 3 second cast and it takes 2 seconds to run out of one from the center. By the time the visual effect for weight appears, 1-1.5 seconds may have already passed.
