    It's like repair costs; either they're meaningful and painful (launch), or they're so trivial that they're more of an annoyance (now). Mobs aren't dangerous at all; even with Heavy, they're not going to come close to killing you. That just makes being forced to run through them in twice the time annoying. So either remove or reduce the duration/effect of Heavy or make it meaningful by making the mobs actually dangerous.

    No, really, I find it sad that an adventurer can prance around in the elite beastmen strongholds with no repercussions. Some "stronghold."

    Yeah I've been really disappointed with how pathetic the strongholds are. The strongholds should be dangerous places; like open world dungeons. Instead they're just more of the same...

    If they removed the heavy effect, then all the trash mobs would retain their easy difficulty and remove the annoyance to travel. Danger doesn't really change much. Their vision of 'trash mobs' doesn't change.
    If they wanted to make the mobs in the strongholds and other areas a more significant threat instead of just heavy, then I wouldn't complain either. In some areas, I'd actually welcome it.

    I just don't see the point to it now. As it stands the heavy doesn't make the mobs stronger in any facet or really give a perceived 'threat'...it just literally feels annoying more than anything.

    They made it that way with the dailies in mind for solo play.

    If they wanted to amp up the difficulty, they could. Just a question of whether the people who want it changed outweighs those who want it to remain that way.

    That's also annoying but at least it only wastes 2 or 3 seconds of your time, as opposed to the 20 from Heavy. (I also usually have Stoneskin on so it doesn't work on me. :3)

    Also, more of an annoyance than a threat. In 1.0 they would be able to use it CONSTANTLY to trap you in their melee range.

    Seriously tho. Heavy from aggro on mount is so dumb. Just knock me off my mount at the same chance percentage. If it's not lame. It doesn't make sense.

    Lame my mount, force me off it like 1.0. Heavy, despite dismounting afterwards, is one of the things that isn't necessarily a conscious grinding of gears, but it will add a few straws to the camels' back each time.

    Must say I have gotten somehow used to it. Wanna do the tribe quest? Be prepared to be attacked constantly from enemies who can't do any really harm to you. They are annoying as hell, especially when you wanna check out the map but can't open/close it because yet another enemy has spotted and is targetting you.

    I mean the DEV's have chosen these locations for a reason (I guess) but when I ask myself "would I go there if not for the dailies", the answer is a clear HELL NO lol.

    Some people would like to have notorious monsters back, others would like to have a World that is more dangerous in general. I for once prefer not to be interrupted at all when I am following "my business" aka making leves or tribe quests. I find it annoying to look for something while having 2-3 mobs on my ass constantly. But alas, in the end I want the damn shards and tomes and GIL from the quests so I keep on doing them and get more and more used to the annoying parts of it.
