Parser results can be simply abused. For example. in T4, it will look like melee dps does less damage and blackmages will look miles ahead, thsi is because the blm aoe(flare etc) boost their DPS during bug phase, while melee dps will slowly gain dps during those phases.
At the end over all dps would be given to BLM.
I actually tried this, if i just do single target dps as blm on all phase of T4, my dps would only be slightly higher than melee dps.
Now to address OP, i think other healer got high healer due to medica spamming, while u had tank single target healing.
Maybe SE banning "meters" seem good idea. Because bunch of fools abuse this.
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
well if the tank is terrible that is a different story
but i'm just saying personal accountability. If I mess up I know I did. I see a lot of people play the victim all the time (I didn't do anything wrong)
Of course the other healer would be doing 60% of the healing if the WHM is healing the party with you focusing on the tank.
And if you are scholar, you have shields. People don't think in this game. Like... at all
Thunderz's attitude is why I and alot of others find the JP forum a lot more friendly and constructive than the EN forum. Even if a post is just about ranting, almost always it turns into a constructive thread that tries to find out what the problem was and end up with a few suggestions to devs. But in EN you get all these "grow thick skin", "lol babies" kind of replies that are nothing more than poster-feelz-gud self-patting that does nothing to help the thread.
Personally I use meters to help gauge myself when I'm playing on my DD classes. When I'm healing or tanking I don't use parsers. Actually I often forget to run the parser when I switch to my DD class for this reason.
I think Square is doing it right to make kicking based on meter performance a harassment. But they are also not solving the problem by adamantly refusing to give a correct in-game meter. There must be a better solution than continue to allow abusive players to cite third party unsanctioned parsers. And I think discussing about the possible ways to achieve that would be better than trying to "downvote" other people's threads using abusive replies.
Come on people, be sensitive. That's what makes for a friendly environment.

The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance.
There are many tanks(and DDs) in King Behemoth fight still doesn't know what the big white circle on the floor do.
No not always healers fault.
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
On a serious note. I don't advocate in being a D--k to anyone in-game
The problem with the NA forums we are not organized and instead of posting all our conversations in a single thread. We end up with 70,000 Threads about the same topic... which all end poorly. Eventually you get sick of seeing the same thing over and over.
Meters are meant to be used for self improvement and min/max your gear-sets. It is a great tool for that.
Square said they would allow customer UI and API in a year from the game release so maybe eventually we will have one in-game
but honestly MMO's have always had a rep for "jerks" and the sort in-game. Ignoring people can go a long way

And people argue that parsers are a good thing when this is proof that SE should ban every single person that uses one.
