Okay, so there has been a crapload of threads after the last live letter regarding 2.2 and how it was "nerfind everything".


I personnally was super disappointed from previous live letters -- come on, CT with 16 randoms from DF and houses for 500 M ? So i was a bit anxious regarding this one.

And while i think it lacked some big "oompf" announcement surprise to create some buzz, it was also pretty damn straight and devoid of any dissappointment, at least for me. Most things were to be expected, but nothing went wrong. I will get turn 6-9, so 4 of them, with no turn 3 nonsense. I am going to do this with 7 other people, not with 23 (that waas a possibility after all, and it would have pissed me to no end). Leviathan fight look freacking incredible and unique and i can't wait to start trying it. Brayflox HM has really me psyched up -- here's to hoping it will be lvl 80 entry and gives the new currency, so that people at endgame can have some challenge in there.

The list goes on, although these were the points that i was most attached to. Over all, it looks like 2.2 will bring a lot of new content, especially for people currently at endgame. And this live letter had nothing that disappointed me.

I also like the removal of coil lockout. Come on now. We all said how stupid it was for us to have several jobs and no way to gear all of them. Well at least now you can gear all your alt quickly for entry level coil 6 and a bit beyond. And no, that is not the same as DL for coil turn 1 -- there will be no gear level between coil 1-5 and coil 6-9, so it is more like they allowed us to gear all our alt quickly with ilvl 80 gear. And that is the good way to do it for me.

I just like about everything in this Live letter.

For what it's worth, I generally liked everything I saw. I'm looking forward to all of it quite a bit.

I liked it all, especially looking forward to the housing prices dropping. I don't think I'll have a hard time buying a nice little hamlet for myself before they drop further. The new content looked fun too, although I didn't catch if it was possible to fall off of that barge during the Leviathan - that would be sweet!

Overall I think the latest live letter gives us a fairly good update and promising content, it was good. But two things disappoints me:

1) Release date in March, i was actually expecting sooner at mid-February
2) Increase only in item level rewards is not really attractive, I was hoping for more unique item ability customization than just giving stats. And I also was anticipating if there is a hint for a Relic Zenith upgrade to enhance our weapon level from i90 to higher rather than fully depending on Turn 5 allagan weapon drop.

Probably forgetting some.

Halatali HM I guess will be fun too, but I don't really feel excited about that place.

Generally I like the Letters Live but based on this 2.2 seems lacking in diverse content. 1 primal, 1 new dungeon, 2 remix dungeon, coil, new dailies, and fixes/fluff (fluff meanings mounts, minions, gear).

Was hoping to more map / games for PvP, new open world content like treasure hunting, new HM FATEs, expansion of the map. Stuff like that.

I think every dungeon will get a hard mode, just got to wait for them.

They will. And for 2.3 I expect one of Sastasha, Tam-Tara or Toto-rak to get hardmode together with qarn or cutter's cry.
I think darkhold and aurum vale will be the last of the 2.0 dungeons to get hardmodes, before they need to start making hardmodes of dungeons from 2.1 (pharos sirius), 2.2 (amdapor township), ...

Edit: Forgot about WP/AK/CM/Prae... Those will probably come before any hard modes of new dungeons.
