When my FC needs to bring in pugs to Ex primal groups, it suddenly becomes harder then Twintania. Was trying to bring in several friends to Titan Ex (separate occurrences) and there's always 1 pub healer that doesn't heal properly, or that 1 pub tank that doesn't swap correctly, or that 1 pub DPS that does half the DPS of the others in the team. It gets annoyingly frustrating how one or more people could ruin things for an entire party

Thet likely will, but thankfully (in my case) once new gear is out this should become considerably easier.

Titan Ex is definitely extreme. But after many fights, just avoid individual mistakes and one day when u meet a group of them like you, all will be well^^ Don't give up.

Just kick the people who suck, keep the people who play well. Should get a kill within 1 hour.

min ilv for TitanX is 67-68, that's all you need.
I did fine at ilv 73; if you cant dodge plumes at ilv 73, you cant dodge plumes at ilv 83, or even 93...and you really shouldnt get hit by any of them, no matter how many times he throws them at you.
gear doesn't make any huge difference, skill does. I out-dps many ilv85 ppl, at ilv73. So blaming gear is just bad excuse.
For the generic player, the difference of ilv 90 and 100, is gonna be something like 10 more DPS...which isnt going to help much, when Titan has close to 400k hp.
ppl usually just think: oh hey, im gonna get better gear, and then it will be easy! WRONG, ppl actually derp more, cause they get overconfident.
So dont blame player gear, blame player skill (or lack of)

Not exactly. Your main story quest, wont get interrupted if you dont kill EX. Main story goes through Moogle King, and ends shortly after that.
EX are just sidequests, to the main story.

actually, main story brings me to EX Garuda ? I hvnt seen the end of the main story yet I have to beat Garuda EX...so I do believe that you require EX Primals to finish the main story....maybe I am wrong though
