Legacy players didn't get anything special on their relics from 1.0. And they invested a lot more time and effort into them than current 2.0'ers.

It's standard in other games that top tier raids/activities reward exclusive vanity stuff. People from 1.0 should have had something more to show for their relics, they at least got an exclusive mount and tattoo.
