I really enjoy this game, and it sucks that everytime I come to forums people are bitching about everything that SE is doing. I think that in the few months that XIV has been out SE has done more that it really needed. Were there problems in the beginning? Yes. Is there things that could be fixed or tweaked? Yes. But everyone focuses on what they dont like, and cries "I quit because SE didnt cater to exactly what I wanted" I am at the point now where i hope everyone that cries because SE didnt kiss there butt actually does quit because for every one person that leaves, there are 100s more that appreciate what SE is doing and are here for the long haul.

I mean this is just what you have with this community now-a-days. Just lots of bitter players. The only reason to read these forums is because you're a masochist, especially after the announcement of a nerf. Everyone is most recently infected with some e-sports kind of thinking where a nerf or new items invalidate their content, and they're all quitting because it's not an MMO from a decade ago.

I have actually been in the hospital for the last few weeks recovering from an accident and logged in and the forums are my home page. I dont read them because i am a masochist or looking to troll, I truely use the forums what they are meant to be used for. Getting and offering help, but when you click on new posts and its 5 pages of whines, and i am not talking about just after big announcements eithers, every day there are multiple threads on how SE didnt bow down and kiss someone's feet and now there quitting because other people may get a chance to enjoy the game now too. Its kinda sad people's e-peens shrivel when someone else gets to enjoy content

I love the game and have enjoyed playing it and I continue to love it. I like the content and there is still enough for me to keep my busy for a long time coming. I do dislike some of the things like dungeon grinding but heh...don't have a really good answer for what esle they could have done aside from having a lot more content ready to make the farming less mind numbing. I think I could just about run AK with my eyes closed with three different jobs...LOL

Why is someone complaining on forums ruining your game experience? People who don't like something have every right to make complaints. If they didn't we might not have this game.

Also, people who are enjoying the game are more than likely playing it.

If you're also worried about complaints, you're essentially adding to the threads with this one. Just saying.

My only complaint is how hollow the open world is. It's not a big enough deal for me to complain about it. I think the dev team are doing really well. Honestly the time between launch and the first expac (what direction the expac goes) define most mmos. Personally I'm planning to get my open world fix from EQN and enjoy the story ffxiv gives. I'm also interested in where ffxiv will be by its first expac.
