    Uh.. movement speed is a HUGE deal. Some attacks are timed to where you have less than half a second to react and get out or you get hit. Being able to sprint gives you much more room for error.

    Monk's first of the wind makes a tremendous difference too. If any monks have trouble dodging Titan's aoes. Use wind till heart.

    I think you missed the core of my post, and that is that you need to move regardless. Sprint doesn't actually kick in right away, it takes roughly half a second to actually give you the speed boost making your point there kind of moot as by the time it kicked in, you would have either reacted, or doomed yourself to being hit.

    However I am not bringing the greatness of move speed under scrutiny, I am saying that your argument is fallacious. It's not actually anything like that.

    Again, going along with it the only class/Job actually major hurt by having to move is THM/BLM, but every caster gets the benefit. As well, Fists of Wind is not sprint. It is a pretty severe damage loss, and is not available to DRG. I'm not here to argue the effectiveness of any class, but it is unfair. Arguing it is kind of silly, it's blatantly obvious that it is unfair. There is no counterbalance taking place, all sprint using TP does is make it a non-option for melee ever unless it's toward the end of the fight and they have invigorate, or they need to live, but be as useful as a dead player for the next 20 seconds roughly.

    BLM has umbral ice, WHM has shroud, and there are X-ethers, as well as elixirs. Melee gets a single song and natural regen, which isn't very high, to replenish their main resource. The only TP regen items are PvP only, so explain to me how this balances out?

    I'm open to logic here, but your argument so far holds none of that. I'm not trying to be rude, so if it comes off as that I'm sorry. However the logic behind your defense of the system is very weak when you look at everything together.

    make it so you can't use sprint while engaged to a foe? I know you can't run away like a numpty anymore when something actually agros you but it's better than whatever the OP is trying to propose.
